Assistance League Antelope Valley has partnered with Antelope Valley Partners for Health on Operation School Bell, in which we will provide school backpacks and products for 3,500 families. ALAV purchased the backpacks and items to stuff them.
ALAV will have an information table set up at the distribution event, scheduled 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at AV Partners for Health. AVPH will be offering dental exams and the Red Cross will be handing out emergency kits.
We’re also looking for volunteers to help stuff backpacks over the course of two days: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 22 and 23 at AV Partners for Health, located at 44226 10th Street West in Lancaster. For more information on AVPH, click here.
