The Assistance League of Antelope Valley is proud to sponsor a free seminar on Dec. 10 for the Antelope Valley Hospital’s Forensic Services Unit. Click here for details.The program, “Non-Stranger Sexual Assaults: Offender Behavior and Victim Dynamics,” is designed to increase awareness of non-stranger sexual assaults and to improve the effectiveness of investigations into such cases.
The seminar is scheduled 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, at the Community Resource Center, North Side Entrance, 44151 15th St. West, in Lancaster. Featured speakers will include world renowned forensic psychologist, Dr. David Lisak, and Mary Reina, MSN, RN, SANE-A/P.
