Everyone was a winner at the Antelope Valley Country Club on Monday at our annual golf tournament fundraiser, Tee Off Fore Kids. The annual ALAV golf tournament fundraiser, “Tee Off Fore Kids,” drew more than 100 golfers and 25 volunteers to the AV Country Club on Monday, Aug. 26. Reports ALAV Treasurer Denise German: “We had 104 players, around 25 volunteers and multiple sponsors. Kiwanis of Palmdale West did a fantastic job with helping us! More than 4,000 people turned out on Saturday at Antelope Valley Partners for Health for the annual Operation School Bell event. This year ALAV partnered with AVPH on Operation School Bell, in which we provided school backpacks and products for thousands of local families. ALAV purchased the backpacks and items to stuff them.
