Recently, we had the privilege of awarding and presenting scholarships to the outstanding graduates of Tech Trek. These exceptional young women have successfully started Tech Trek during their middle school years through their high school years and are now embarking on their college journeys. Each of them boasts a remarkable GPA of 4.0 or above, showcasing not only academic excellence but also a well-rounded skill set. Over the weekend, we had the opportunity to contribute a refrigerator and a scale to Grace Resources—a remarkable organization dedicated to empowering individuals to flourish with dignity. Through their commitment to providing essential resources such as training, education, food, clothing, and spiritual support, Grace Resources embodies compassion and upliftment. It’s a privilege to support such a deserving cause.

December’s fundraiser at Bravery Brewing was an outstanding success! Throughout the month, Bravery Brewery pledged a portion of proceeds from every pizza sold to support the cause. Their generosity resulted in a remarkable total of approximately $2400 raised. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible team at Bravery Brewing for their hard work and unwavering commitment to giving back to the community. Your dedication and generosity truly make a difference. Thank you!
Assistance League of Antelope Valley joyously crafted Easter baskets for the Department of Children and Family Services, continuing our cherished annual tradition of community outreach. With generous support, this year’s endeavor saw remarkable assistance. In total, we proudly assembled approximately 128 baskets, spreading joy and hope to those in need during this Easter Season!
We started our annual backpack project in August. Because of the continued partnership between Assistance League of the Antelope Valley and the Rotary Club of Lancaster, California we were able to provide backpacks to Valley Oasis and Linda Verde Schools. We had backpacks remaining, so we provided them to Guillermo Balcazar and his family to take on their Teachers Teaching Teachers Project in Peru.
