Hazel Gecy (pictured), Parliamentarian for Assistance League Antelope Valley, was among the volunteers helping to stuff backpacks for Operation School Bell last week at Antelope Valley Partners for Health. ALAV is partnering with AVPH on Operation School Bell, in which we will provide school backpacks and products for 3,500 families. ALAV purchased the backpacks and items to stuff them.
ALAV will have an information table set up at the distribution event, scheduled 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, July 30, at AV Partners for Health. AVPH will be offering dental exams and the Red Cross will be handing out emergency kits.
